Re-annexation to Hungary; increase in antisemitism; escape to Budapest; German occupation, March 1944; decrees including yellow badge; deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau, summer 1944; transfer to Liebau; camp life including labor at an air field; liberation by the Red Army, May 1945. Return to Budapest; marriage; aliya to Israel, 1990.
