M.42 - Documentation regarding the Holocaust from archives in France Most of the documentation is from collections of microfilm reels (with the exception of 31 photocopied files) from various organizations and offices in France, such as OSE (Oeuvre de Secours Aux Enfants - Society for Rescuing Children), the Consistoire Central des Israelites de France (Central Consistory of French Jews) and the Commissariat General aux Questions Juives (CGQJ- General Office for Jewish Affairs). Additionally, much documentation regarding France can be found in Yad Vashem Archives Records Groups O.9 (France Collection), M. 12 (Contemporary Jewish Documentation Center, Paris) and M.73 (YIVO Archives, New York).
