Move to Vilna with the outbreak of the war, 1939; after the German occupation detention in prison together with thousands of Jews; release with the help of non-Jewish acquaintance; murder of Jews in Ponary; help in getting out of the ghetto, September 1941; wanderings after losing the family; farm work and hiding with non-Jews; return to the Vilna Ghetto, 1942; deportation to Kaiswerwald camp for a year after the liquidation of the ghetto; labor sewing parachutes until the evacuation; deportation to Stutthoff; farm labor and labor digging fortifications; death march; acute case of typhoid and liberation by the Red Army, March 1945.
