Outbreak of the war; meets Beitar personnel, among them Menachem Begin; move to Brzisc; refusal to work in a shoe factory; is informed on by an NKVD agent and exiled to Siberia; arrest on the charge of being a Zionist.
Return to Poland, 1948; illness and care given by a Polish woman; marriage to the Polish woman; aliya to Israel, 1965.
