Annexation to Hungary; return home; German occupation; deportation to the Siget Ghetto with his family; deportation to Auschwitz by train, 21 March 1944; transfer to Birkenau; transfer to Buna; camp life including labor at carpentry in Kommando 90; transfer to labor in an anti-aircraft weapons factory, September-December 1944; death march to Bergen-Belsen, January 1945; liberation by the British Army.
Hospitalization for eight weeks; sets sail for Sweden; convalescence from tuberculosis in a hospital for almost one year; aliya to Eretz Israel with a certificate, May 1946; absorption at Kibbutz Degania Bet within the framework of Youth Aliyah.
