His family; attends a Polish school and "heder"; work in the family grocery store.
German occupation of Poland and anti-Jewish legislation, 01 September 1939; yellow badge; restrictions and bans; deportation of the men to Ottmuth to Zwangsarbeitlager - forced labor camp; transfer from one camp to another from 1940 until liberation, 1945: Golomik, Wolfsberg, Barth, Gogolin, Markstaedt and Fuenfteichen; labor uprooting trees, laying roads and railroad tracks, clearing snow, building and carpentry; harsh conditions, hunger and beatings; deportation towards the end of the war to Bergen-Belsen and then to labor in Barth; liberation, May 1945.
Return home; joins the Nochum organization and establishes a "kibbutz" in Fohrenwald; "kibbutz" in Beuthen; travel in the direction of Eretz Israel via France; deportation to Cyprus; meets his future wife; marriage; aliya, 1947.
