Outbreak of the war; air-raids on the city; escape from Vinnitsa to Dzhurin; murder of her grandmother with the Jews of Dzhurin; German occupation; life in Dzhurin; establishment of the Dzhurin Ghetto; ghetto life including abuse by Romanians; manhunts for Jews and forced labor; in hiding in a forest during the manhunts; activities of the Dzhurin Jewish Committee; liberation by the Red Army, 1944.
