At a convalescent home with the outbreak of the war; illness and hospitalization in Radogoszcz; deportation to the Lodz Ghetto; ghetto life including labor in the soup kitchen; deportation to Auschwitz via the Czerniejewo transit camp; transfer to Freiburg in Schlesien; camp life; transfer to Mauthausen; transfer to the Gypsy Camp on foot; liberation by the US Army. Return to Lodz; murder of Jews by Poles; immigration to the west with help from a Zionist organization.
