Soviet occupation, 1940; life under Communism; re-occupation of Secureni by the Romanians and Germans; anti-Jewish decrees in economic, cultural and religious areas; murder of Jews; deportation to the Edineti Ghetto; life with his family in the ghetto; transfer on foot under Romanian guard in the direction of Atachi; transfer to Mogilev-Podolski; transfer on foot to villages; deaths of his parents, sister and brother; deportation to the Shargorod Ghetto; transfer to forced labor paving roads; liberation by the Red Army. Drafted into the Red Army; return to Secureni; marriage; aliya to Israel, 1949.
