Farewell letter smuggled by Shalom Reinisch to his family from prison in Buczacz before he was executed in August 1941 Notes by the submitter (Yitzhak Reinisch) – written on a photograph of the letter: The brother of the submitter – Shalom Reinisch – was arrested in the first Aktion in Buczacz with other members of the intelligentsia in August 1941. He smuggled a farewell letter from prison. The detainees were executed on 27 August (murdered on Fedor Hill near Buczacz).
