Drafted into forced labor, October 1942; forced labor in Bretcu; smuggles weaons and equipment over the Polish-Hungarian border, Pesach 1943; transfer to Lawoczne; transfer to Voloc; transfer to Chust; release from forced labor with the change of government in Hungary; escape to the mountains; move to Chap; move to Budapest, November 1943; meets his mother and brother; return to forced labor; deportation to Koszeg, June 1944; camp life including forced labor digging anti-tank ditches under German command; transfer to Austria, April 1945; murder of most of the members in the batallion by the SS; transfer to Mauthausen; camp life; air-raids; transfer to Gunskirchen; liberation, 04 May 1945.
Typhus; hospitalization; return to Budapest; joins Habonim youth movement, 1947; aliya to Eretz Israel onboard the "Moledet".
