Her childhood in Kostesti; attends a school under Romanian authority; leaves her parents' home and move to Cernauti, 1937; work in a textile factory.
Murder of her parents and the remainder of the Jews of Kostesti in a pogrom; Soviet occupation of Cernauti; Romanian and German occupation of Cernauti; ghetto life; deportation on trains to camps in Transnistria; walk to Mogilev to Zmerinka camp and then to Balki camp; liberation of Balki by the Red Army, 1944.
Return to Cernauti; travel to Bucharest; joins the Beitar youth movement; aliya to Eretz Israel on the "Max Nordau" ship, 1946; Atlit camp life and life in other camps; absorption.
