Testimony of Nathan Markusovicius Maron, born in Kretinga, Lithuania, 1908, regarding his experiences in the Kaunas Ghetto, Danzig, Dachau, Landsberg and other places From a Zionist family in Kretinga; learns in a "heder" and a German high school; his father is a merchant; family members make aliya in 1936; medical studies in France; return to Lithuania; drafted into the army; return to France and work as a physician. German occupation; escape to southern France; return to Lithuania and meetings with relatives in Kaunas; deportation to the Kaunas Ghetto; ghetto life including labor building an airfield and as a dentist; liquidation of the Kaunas Ghetto and deportation to Danzig; transfer to Dachau; transfer to Landsberg; camp life including labor digging; transfer from camp to camp; liberation by the US Army, 27 April 1945. Return to Paris; work with Jewish children for the OSE; work as a dentist; marriage; aliya to Eretz Israel with his wife using forged passports, 27 April 1948.
