Annexation to Hungary; relations with the local Ukrainians; German occupation, 1944; deportation of the Jews to the Sekernice Ghetto; deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau; transfer to Buchenwald; transfer to Dora; camp life including labor building barracks, tunnels etc.; death march to Schwerin; the Germans flee; liberation by the Red Army. Organizing a group to Krivichi; move to Budapest, October 1945; meets an emmissary from Eretz Israel; life in DP camps; aliya attempt onboard the "Braha Fuld" from Italy; detention in Cyprus; aliya to Eretz Israel, 1947; absorption and rehabilitation.
