German occupation of Minsk after non-stop air-raids by German aircraft and the burning of Minsk, 27 June 1941; establishment of the Minsk Ghetto, 20 July 1941; establishment of the Judenrat under the leadership of Eliyahu Mushkin, who was later executed for his contacts with the Minsk underground; mass murder, 16 August 1941; pogrom in Minsk, 07 November 1941; witness joins the Communist underground in Minsk; missions for the Minsk Communist underground as a signal operator and in the transfer of weapons, medicine, clothing and typewriters to the Minsk municipal underground; contact between the Minsk underground and the ghetto underground led by Hersh Smolar; removed from the ghetto to the forest with approximately 80 Jews; joins the "Bodoni" partisan brigade that fought in the Starosielsk forest toward the west and Minsk; participation in operations and acts of sabotage against German transportation and communication lines; explosion and mining of railroad tracks and other activities; information regarding the Jewish partisan detachment under the command of Shalom Semion Zorin in the Naliboki forests; visits with the Jewish partisan brigade lead by Tuvia Bielski; German siege of the Naliboki forests, August 1943; wounded during a combat mission against Belorussian police; meets Red Army soldiers.
