Annexation to Hungary, 1939; deportation of Jews with Polish citizenship; yellow badge; German occupation, 1944; concentration of Jews in a brick factory by Mukacevo; receives food parcels from local Jews; deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau, 02 June 1944; camp life until September 1944; transfer to Mauthausen; transfer to Melk; camp life including labor laying railroad tracks and sexual abuse; death march to Guenskirchen; receives food parcels from the Red Cross; liberation. Return to Mukacevo; joins Bnei Akiva youth movement; aliya attempt; detention in Cyprus; aliya, 1947; absorption.
