Lodz Ghetto - Documentation regarding Judenvermoegen Pabianice, Beschlagname and Gelder, 1942-1943 - Confiscation of money, RM (Reichs Marks) and foreign currency in significant amounts and property and valuables, during actions for the liquidation of ghettos in the Lodz area (see the names below), apparently during 06/08-13/12/1942, which are mentioned in documents as the "Sonderaktion". The confiscated monies and property were handed over to the administration of the ghetto (G.V.), the Abt. Beschlagnahme (Confiscation department) or to public organizations or in exchange for payment by private individuals. The names of the ghettos were: Pabianice, Brest-Kujawien, Belchatow, Dombrowa, Praschkao, Lask, Grabow, Baehrental, Pretikau, Poddembice, Sieradz, Schadek, Warth, Strickau, Welungen, Weruschau, Landstedt, Ost-Werdex, Zdunska-Wolla, Zelow and Kirche-Alexanderhof.
