Documentation regarding the sign "Jewish Place: Only Jews May Enter" in Amsterdam 1941 The Joodse Raad (Jewish Council) passed the sign on to Joseph van Gelderen for hanging in the window of his restaurant in the Jewish Quarter of Amsterdam. - Circular sent by the SS Rottenfuehrer informing Reinhard and Aus den Fuenten regarding the sign, 17 October 1941; - Van Gelderen's request to receive the sign from the Zentralstelle fuer juedische Auswanderung (Central Office for Jewish Emigration), 18 October 1941; - The actual sign saying "Joodsche Lokaal, Alleen voor Joden Toegankelijk (Jewish Place: Only Jews May Enter)"; - Acknowledgment of receipt of the sign with van Gelderen's signature, 11 December 1941.
