Correspondence between Chaim Shorer and Rachel Auerbach, 1951-1955 Note: Chaim Shorer was a member of the Workers' Movement and Mapai, an emissary in Romania and Poland from the Jewish National Fund and an emissary of the Mapai Party in Poland. During World War II, he enlisted in the Jewish Brigade. After the war, he filled various positions on the Editorial Board of the "Davar" newspaper, and in 1953, he was appointed as Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper.
