Reporting to the military camp in Humenne, March 1941; holding prayer services and serving of kosher food in the camp; treatment of the Jews by the Slovak soldiers including permitting them to stay in touch with the Jewish population outside the camp; outbreak of war between Germany and the Soviet Union; transfer of the group to Limnik; camp life including forced labor for approximately 60 hours a week and wearing prison clothing instead of army uniforms; staffing of the camp headquarters by Slovaks and Germans; existence of religious life in the camp including the observance of Shabbat; transfer of the group to Zahor, early 1942; deportation of approximately half of the Jews to camps in the East, until summer 1942; arrival of the rest of the group to Kostolna, December 1943; escape of some group members and their joining the partisans.
