Traditional family; membership in youth movements; German conquest; escape to Krakow and return to Oswiecim; sister's murder in Rzeszow; deportation and forced labor in Auschwitz; transfer to Sosnowiec and then to Ottmuth camp, various forced labor assignments; transfer to Gleiwitz camp and life in camp; transfer to Brande autumn 1942 and life in camp; transfer to Dyhernfurth and life in camp; transfer to Messelwitz and life there, including laying tefillin; transfer to Klettendorf and forced labor in camp; transfer to Waldenburg and life in camp; liberated by Soviet army in 1945; scrapnel from shell; wedding 13/11/1945; fund-raising for Bericha organizations; birth of son; aliya to Israel 1950; establishment of family and absorption in country.
