Testimony of Zwi Georg (Manes) Rejzewski, born in Bruehl, 1928, regarding his experiences as a child in the Vilna Ghetto, and in the Kazla Ruda, Landshut, and Muhldorf camps. Childhood in Bruehl; youth in Cologne at the time of the Nazi rise to power; economic difficulties as a result of the decrees, 1935; his father's arrest; escape to Vilna with his mother; receiving help from the Joint; life under Russian rule until 1939; the German occupation and deportation to the Vilna Ghetto, 1941; deportation to perform forced labor in the Kails plant; working as a porter, and doing odd jobs; separation from his father, 1944, and deportation to Kozlova Ruda; his stay in the camp; deportation for a short time to the Landsberg camp, 1945; deportation to the Landshut camp; selection and deportation to the Muehldorf camp to work in the airfield; liberation by the US Army, 1945. His stay in the Feldafing DP camp; return to Cologne with help from friends, and remaining there until 1946; joining Maccabi Hatzair; aliya to Eretz Israel, via Bari, on the ship "Mordei Hagetaot", via Cyprus, 1948; joining Kibbutz Afikim.
