His childhood in Most; his studies in Prague; his activities in the Tehelet Lavan (Blau-Weiss) youth movement and help to the movement's activists from Germany to make aliya to Eretz Israel.
Deportation to the Jewish quarter of Prague with his mother, 1940; deportation to the Theresienstadt Ghetto, 1941; labor in the maintenance department; daily ghetto life; tuberculosis illness, 1943-1944; receives medical treatment; transfer to St. Gallen via Constance and Kreuzlingen, February 1945.
Life in Lugano under the auspices of the Jewish Brigade and with help from the JDC; aliya to Eretz Israel from La Spezia on the "Eliahu Golomb" ship, 1946; joins Kibbutz Dorot and kibbutz life.
