From a family that emigrated from Poland to Berlin; antisemitism before the war; her father's arrest and deportation to Poland, 1938; Kristallnacht; leaving for relatives in Holland with her younger siblings; the trip; staying in the Huis Croomfield and Huis Den Vyer children's homes with her siblings; unification of the family in the Westerbork camp, 1939; life in the camp under the threat of deportation; joining study circles; activities; deportation to Bergen-Belsen with her family, 1945; their time in the camp; approach of the front; evacuation by train; liberation of her family by the Red Army in Troebitz.
Return to Holland; aliya to Eretz Israel via Belgium, on the ship "Champollion" from Marseilles, 1946; absorption.
