Testimony of Aizyk Nojman, born in Zarki, 1923, regarding his experiences in the Bedzin Ghetto, membership in the Hashomer Hatzair underground and Blechhammer, Annaberg, Langenstein and Buchenwald camps Zionist family; membership in Hashomer Hatzair; orphaned of his father; the family is earns a livelihood by sewing. German occupation; escape in the direction of Lvov; return to Zarki; life in hiding; smuggles leather products to support the family; escape to Bedzin, early 1943; joins the Hashomer Hatzair underground in the Bedzin Ghetto; rescue during an unsuccessful attempt to make contact with the Polish underground; return to the underground in the ghetto; sent by the underground to transfer children to the "Rosner workshop"; deportation to Blechhammer camp, early 1944; camp life and forced labor loading railroad cars and assembling pipes; deportation to Annaberg camp and forced labor taking shoes apart; deportation back to Blechhammer; death march via Gross-Rosen camp to Buchenwald; deportation to Langenstein camp; camp life and forced labor loading rocks; liberation by the US Army. Move to Halberstadt for convalescence; joins a "kibbutz" in Buchenwald; aliya to Eretz Israel, 1946; settles in Kibbutz Shuval.
