Testimony of Pesi (Weisman-Bernsdorfer) Rosenfeld, born in Mukacevo, 1926, regarding her experiences in Auschwitz-Birkenau, Langenbielau and Chrastava camps Life in Subotica until the outbreak of the war. Hungarian occupation; German occupation, 1944; deportation of her father to a labor camp in Novi-Sad; deportation of the rest of the family to Bacsalmas and then to Auschwitz-Birkenau, two weeks later; transfer to Langenbilau camp to labor in a Flechteur spinning mill; camp life; evacuation of the camp, March 1945; death march in the direction of Parschnitz; forced labor digging trenches; transfer to Chrastava camp; forced labor in a gas engine factory; liberation by the Red Army. Joins aliya training for young religious women in Bratislava; marriage; aliya to Israel, 1950.
