Work in the government during the Soviet period, 1940-41; Hebrew school and Lithuanian high school; murder of the brother; detention of the father; deportation to the ghetto; learning in a construction course; life in the ghetto and construction labor; forced labor in labor camps in Estonia; death of the brother from typhoid; deportation to a camp in Stutthof; transfer to Buchenwald; death march; escape and help from Czech farmers; life with a Czech farmer near Kralovce; move to the USSR; military service in the Red Army.
