Life under Soviet rule; entry of the Germans, 1941; "Aktion" in Stanislawow, 15 December 1941; transfer to ghetto, construction of bunker; liquidation of ghetto, 1943; escape to Stryj Ghetto; ghetto life until its liquidation; escape to Budapest via Munkacs; help from the Polish consulate; stay in Harszagczonad near Baja; escape to Arad via Klausenburg after German entry into Hungary, 1944; capture by Romanians and sent to Tirguzu camp; help by the YMCA in Tirguzu camp; liberation by Red Army. Return to Bucharest; help from the Joint; aliya to Eretz Israel via Syria on the "Salah-a-Din" ship; details about his testimony at the Krieger trial, 1966.
