Her childhood in Germany; move to Merano, in northern Italy, because of the Nazi rise to power, 1935; life in Merano; deportation of the refugees, early 1939; illegally crosses the border to France; life in aliya training near Nice; move to Nice.
Outbreak of the war between Germany and France; her father enlists in the French Army; her father is taken to German captivity until the end of the war; witness learns sewing in an ORT school; life in Nice under Italian fascist rule; activities in the Zionist movement; helps to buy food for Jewish families; German occupation, September 1943; transfer to Switzerland in a group of children.
Life in a Youth Aliyah home in Versoix near Geneva; aliya to Eretz Israel using certificates, June 1945; life in Israel in kibbutzim and a moshav.
