Establishment of the Mukacevo Ghetto, May 1944; concentration of the Jews in the market square and deportation to a brick factory; deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau, late May 1944; separation from his mother and sister; transfer to block A17 and 7; tattooing of a number; transfer to Janisze camp and then to Jaworzno camp; labor in an electricity factory in camp; approach of the Red Army and evacuation, late 1944; arrival at Blechhammer camp and stay there until liberation by the Red Army.
Walks with friends to the the Soviet headquarters in Gleiwitz; aliya attempt on the "La-Negev" ship; deportation to Cyprus and stay in camps 55 and 63 for one year, February 1947-February 1948.
