Soviet occupation and economic ramifications; German occupation, 1941; decrees on the community; murder of 2,000 men, autumn, 1941; establishment of the Zambrow Ghetto; ghetto life until 1942; deportation to a former military camp until January, 1943; camp life; deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau; camp life including an attack on a German by a Jewish female inmate; life in Lagisza; transfer to Jaworzno; death march in the direction of Blechhammer, January, 1945; escape to a forest; joins inmates of various nationalities; liberation. Move to Bialystok; move to Romania; aliya to Eretz Israel, November 1945; absorption.
