From a Zionist family; escape to Lodz with the outbreak of the war; German occupation and return to Wielun; deportation to perform forced labor on the railroad in Pogenburg; life in the camp, hanging of a prisoner as a punishment for receiving a package of food; deportation to Liebenau 1,2 late in the winter, 1941-1942; deportation to Kreuzsee, near Reppen; deportation to Finkenheerd (power stations), August 1942; life in the camp, work on the power station and in the coal mines; deportation to Furstenberg, forced labor in setting up a power station, until 1943; deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau, 1943; deportation to Janinagrubbe, forced labor in the coal mines; hospitalization in the sick room; evacuation of the camp, early 1945, and death march to Gross-Rosen; deportation to Zittau, and forced labor in the rocket factory; liberation by the Red Army.
