Service in Hungarian labor battalions in Ukraine; retreat to Budapest; concentration of the battalions' members in a synagogue in Buda; death march in the direction of Austria; transfer of the battalions' members from the Hungarian Army to the Germans next to Bruck; deportation to Mauthausen and then to Guenskirchen camp; liberation by the US Army.
Wels DP camp life; service as a police commander in camp on behalf of the US Army; keeps order among the survivors; capture of Nazis, mainly Hungarians, who were hiding in the area; settles in Oradea; life under Communist regime in Romania; aliya to Israel, 1973.
