Entry of the Germans; burning of religious books in the yard of his house; escape of the witness and his brother to relatives in Zenta and Debrecen; hiding for a year in a cellar in Debrecen; imprisonment in Budapest; deportation to a detention camp in Kistarcza and then to the Budapest Ghetto; life in a protected house; lice; executions near the Danube River; liberation.
