His family hides in cellars for fear that his father will be drafted to the Italian Army because of his Italian origin; capture of his parents and the witness stays alone in the cellar, 1942; his mother’s escape from a transport to Jasenovac and the witness’ rescue by his mother; hiding with a Christian family; hiding with Moslem families in Visoko until the end of the war.
