Evacuation from Strasbourg and wanderings with her family via Limoges and Besancon to Perigueux; help from the French government until 1942; after the entry of the Germans, help from the local authority by enabling them to hide with nuns in St. Vincent de Paul; living with forged documents. Life in St. Front after the liberation, August 1944; work in the OPJ organization; 1944-1946; training in Perigueux, 1946-1947; en route from Marseille on the "Exodus" and deportation to Germany; aliya to Eretz Israel from Luebeck via Marseille, December 1947.
