Testimony of Shmuel Galili, born in Kurima, 1926, regarding his experiences in Uzhorod, Auschwitz, Guenskirchen camp, an ammunitions factory in Sosnowiec and on a death march Childhood in Kurima; the family moved to Uzhorod; annexation to Hungary, 1939; deportation to the ghetto, 1944; deportation to Auschwitz and separation from his family; work in Cable Kommando; training as a builder in the Maurerschule; work in an ammunitions factory in Sosnowiec from November 1944 to 1945; on a death march in the direction of Mauthausen concentration camp; liberation in Guenskirchen camp, 1945. Move to Wiener Neustadt for medical treatment in a US Army hospital; looking for his brother in Budapest; aliya to Israel via Bari and a detention camp in Cyprus.
