Testimony of Pnina Liberman, born in Ganice, Czechoslovakia, 1925, regarding her experiences in Ganice, the Mukacevo Ghetto, Auschwitz, Plaszow and Gabersdorf camps Her family background; attends Czechoslovakian, Ukrainian and Hungarian schools due to changes in the regime; death of her father, 1934; work in housekeeping. German occupation, April 1944; in hiding in a forest; return to Ganice; deportation to the Mukacevo Ghetto; deportation to Auschwitz five weeks later; transfer to Plaszow camp 10 days later; labor digging pits for three months; transfer back to Auschwitz; transfer to Gabersdorf camp; labor in a factory for aircraft parts; liberation by the Red Army, 08 May 1945. Return to Ganice; move to Bucharest; joins Bnei Akiva; move to Italy, late 1945; aliya to Eretz Israel, December 1947.
