Testimony of Moshe Levi, born in Levice, Czechoslovakia, 1922, regarding his experiences in Slovakia, a Hungarian labor battalion, Budapest, the Glass House and using a false identity His childhood and family background; life in Parkan until 1939; decent relations with the local non-Jews; membership in Maccabi Hatzair; aliya training in Sarkeresztur. Annexation to Hungary; joins Levente, a fascist youth organization, 1939; assignment of various jobs to the Jewish members; move to Budapest, late 1939; work in a sawmill and canning factory; draft to a labor battalion, September 1939; service in Mohacs in the Fifth Division; transfer to Szekesfehervar; labor loading trains; transfer to Pecs; return to Budapest, October 1943; joins the Glass House under the protection of the Swiss ambassador; life in the Glass House; leaves the Glass House using forged documents; liberation by the Red Army. Work for the JDC in Arad; aliya to Eretz Israel, September 1945.
