Testimony of Yitzhak Bider, born in Hannover, Germany, 1920, regarding his experiences in Hannover, Italy and Sweden From a hasidic family originally from Poland; learns in Rabbi Azriel Carlebach's school, and at Rabbi Hoffman's Yeshiva in Frankfurt am Main; joins Hapoel Hamizrachi aliya training in Steckelsdorf, 1936; humiliation of Jews in Berlin who were forced to clean streets with their prayer shawls; transfer of the aliya training to Italy, 1938; activities in the aliya training; termination of the aliya training, October 1938; transfer of the aliya training to Halmstad, Sweden. Knowlegde concerning the circumstances of the death of his family members; treatment of survivors from concentration camps who arrived in Sweden after the Bernadotte operation. Aliya to Eretz Israel, 1946.
