First days of the German occupation; establishment of the Judenrat; deportation to forced labor in Sosnowiec and then in Auenrode, April 1940; labor paving roads; camp life; transfer with part of the group to Gabersdorf; meets his brother; transfer to the Russian front as an auxiliary force to the German army near Leningrad; return to Annaberg, then to Tarnowiec; labor laying railroad lines; camp life; transfer with about 50 men to a brick factory in Gross Pogel, 1943; relations with his supervisors; transfer to Kittlitzstreben concentration camp, a sub-camp of Gross-Rosen; camp life; death march in the direction of Buchenwald, and then to Neubeuern, February 1945; liberation, 22 April 1945.
