Life before the war.
Taken to German captivity; return home; establishment of the Swierzen Nowy Ghetto, late November 1941; establishment of the Zionist-Hechalutz underground; ghetto is turned into a labor camp after the large "Aktion", November 1942; obtains weapons; training in the underground; escape to a forest, November 1943; joins a partisans unit; life with the partisans including participation in battles; partisans meet the Red Army; draft into the Red Army and participation in combat; wounded; hospitalization in military hospitals; end of the war.
Release from the Red Army; enlists in the Soviet militia; repatriation to Poland, September 1945; joins Bericha activities in Poland and Germany; member of the Geulim "kibbutz" in Germany; aliya attempt to Eretz Israel on the "Tel Hai" ship; blockade at sea by British ships; detention camp life in Cyprus; aliya to Eretz Israel, 1946; member of Kibbutz Kinneret; combat in the Palmach and Haganah; enlists in the IDF and participation in the War of Independence.
