Escape of the family from the Soviet Union to Tel Aviv, 1925; move of the family to Amsterdam due to difficulties in absorption, 1932; work of her father as a tailor; rumors from refugees who arrived to the Netherlands after 1933.
German occupation of the Netherlands, 14 May 1940; deportation to Westerbork and then to Auschwitz by the Dutch police, September 1942; selection; transfer to Birkenau; labor in odd jobs with female political prisoners from Germany; special attitude of the block elder due to the witness' beautiful voice; witness sings for Mengele on his birthday and exemption of her block from selection on that day; transfer to Salzwedel due to her voice, winter 1944; labor in a subterranean factory producing aircraft lights; camp life and good conditions; evacuation from one camp to another; liberation by the US Army.
Work in an American hospital helping a physician with translation; work for UNRRA in Stuttgart; meets Jewish Brigade soldiers; receives a certificate from the British and makes aliya to Eretz Israel, May 1947.
