Deportation of the witness's family to Mogilev; deportation to forced labor in Domnesti; labor building railroads for six months; transfer to Voinesti; labor digging anti-tank trenches; detention for three months for identifying with Communists; sentenced to 25 years imprisonment after his late return from leave which was considered as desertion; release ten months later, with help from a lawyer; return home; imprisonment in Bucharest; escape during air-raids.
Return home at the end of the war; work as a barber; illegal immigration to Eretz Israel; absorption.
