Air-raids on Belgrade and outbreak of the war, 06 April 1941; escape of the witness and his family to Sanski Most; German and Italian occupation; murder of Jews in Sanski Most; return to Banja Luka, May 1941; deterioration of the attitude of the Catholics and Moslems toward the Jews; anti-Jewish decrees; food rations; ban on studies; yellow badge; obtains forged documents, October 1941; escape of the family to Split for one month; deportation to the Treviso Ghetto; transfer to Follina; sympathetic attitude on the part of the population and the authorities; withdrawal of Italy from the war, 08 September 1943; escape of the family to Bari using forged documents. Move to Venice; aliya to Israel, 31 May 1949.
