Youth and studies in Kielce; work as a clerk in a Jewish bank in Lodz until the outbreak of the Polish-German war.
Continues to work in the bank after its nationalization by the Germans; in the Lodz Ghetto, which was a large industrial center for the Germans; establishment of many factories - ressortes - in the ghetto, which employed those able to work; hunger, deterioration of sanitary conditions, epidemics and mass death in the ghetto; work as an accounts manager in the headquarters of Jewish police and as a clerk in the registration department of the ghetto; cultural activities in the ghetto; "Black Thursday" in the ghetto; his opinion on the "concept" of the head of the Judenrat Rumkowski of "saving through labor"; underground radio operation by Widawski and his suicide in the ghetto; accostability, harassment and deportation of most of the ghetto's inhabitants to extermination camps; deportation on a transport to Auschwitz-Birkenau, 26 August 1944; transfer to Kaltwasser camp, October-November 1944; Maerzbachtal camp, December 1944-January 1945; Dornau camp, February-March 1945; Schotterwerk camp, March-May 1945.
