Hungarian occupation and the change in the life of his family, in particular and the life of the Jews, in general, 1938; deportation of the Jews to a brick factory, 1944; establishment of the Kosice Ghetto; yellow badge; deportation to Auschwitz, April 1944; selection and transfer to Wolfsberg; labor paving roads; transfer to Dornau camp; labor clearing belongings from abandoned camps and burying the dead; arrival of the Red Army; illness and treatment.
Return to Kosice and reunion with his sister; departs to Eretz Israel via Vienna, Bratislava and Aschach an der Donau, 08 January 1946; aliya attempt and detention in Cyprus; aliya to Eretz Israel on the "La-Negev" ship, February 1948; participation in the War of Independence.
