Annexation to Germany; expulsion from school and eviction from their home; move to a Youth Aliyah school; relinquishment of a certificate to Eretz Israel with the aim to move to England; move to the Netherlands by the Red Cross, 10 February 1938; German occupation; evacuation of the Jews from the coastal area; voluntary transfer to Westerbork; camp life including activities in an aliya training group and labor in a kitchen; deportation to Bergen-Belsen, March 1944; camp life in a sub-camp for inmates intended for an exchange; transfer by train to an unknown destination; Allied air-raids; liberation by the Red Army.
Move to the American Zone in Leipzig; return to the Netherlands; joins Aliya Bet; aliya to Eretz Israel, 1945.
