Family of wine makers and wine merchants; life in Lodz from her childhood.
Anti-Jewish decrees; deportation to the Lodz Ghetto; ghetto life and harsh conditions including overcrowding and shortage of food; labor in a brick factory in the ghetto, 1940-1944; membership in a youth society; cultural and educational activities; deportation of the family to Auschwitz, July 1944; first selection and separation along with her sisters from her parents and brothers; transfer to Bergen-Belsen; labor in a weapons factory in Elsnig; air-raids on of the railroad station and the factory, 20 April 1945; escape through the villages to a forest with her sisters and several women and their stay in the hut of a local forester until the end of the war.
Move at the end of the war via Belgium and aliya to Eretz Israel, 1946.
