Deportation to Kalisz, 1940; transfer by passenger train to the Lodz Ghetto; transfer back to Kalisz; transfer to Kozminek; establishment of a new ghetto, 1940; adequate conditions; deportation to the Lodz Ghetto, summer 1942; in hiding with her brother in a cistern under their house during "Sperre" curfew; works in brassiere and uniform factories; liquidation of the ghetto, August 1944; deportation to Auschwitz; is selected for labor; transfer to Bergen Belsen; lives in tents; transfer to Geislingen; labors in kitchen and at Wittenberger Werke factory; massive air raids some time around April 1945; work in factory ceases; transfer to Allauch camp in France; extensive wanderings by train under Hungarian military guard; railroad cars opened and Red Cross parcels received, 28 April 1945; Hungarian guards flee, 30 April 1945; liberation by US Army near Munich.
Spends two years in DP camp in Landsberg; two years in France; aliya to Israel, 1949.
